Keep Active If You Want To Stay Healthy

If you are not active you may not lead a healthy life. You may feel tired and find it difficult to sleep. When you did not get enough sleep , you will feel tired when you wake up in the morning and energiless until you fall asleep during the day. Our body system change due to aging process and thus we have to make changes to our life and activity to accommodate it.

If you have sufficient sleep :-

·         Your mind thinks clearly and thus make better decision.
·         Your immune system improved that make you healthier.
·         Your energy is getting better and is prepared to shoulder the task when you wake up.

A sufficient sleep is needed for our health. Lack of sleep will disturb the growth of the hormones in our body  as your muscles will change to fat. Despite the important of sleep, it still stand behind activities. You have to stay active to keep fit and healthy.

Make walking as part of your exercise or daily activity. By walking, you muscles will be loosen, stress is released and depression as well as anxiety is reduced. When all these happen, you will have better sleep . Thus, when you wake up in the morning, you will feel happier and energetic.

When you are exhausted due to hetic day work and lack of sleep, you will feel weak and this prevent you from enjoying any activities. Right sleeping will give you more energy and you can become more active.

Observe you food intake in order to have good sleep. Reduce the intake of caffeine, nicotine or any over the counter medicine that may keep you awake. Try not to drink after 8.00pm in the evening. If you have to smoke , please stop smoking after 8.00pm.

Despite all the above and if you still can’t asleep, try moving around your house instead of turning on the TV. Do some stretching by shaking your body including your arms and legs. Doing such simple movement can make you relax and if everybody is asleep, you can relax more.
So keep active and sleep well to stay healthy.
